Walk-Leighs was founded in 2019 on the belief that
not all pets are born equal. They each have their own unique traits and mannerisms, and therefore require their own unique and specialized training. That’s where we come in!
Whether it’s for basic manners or more complex behavioral issues, our trainers are focused on not only training your pet, but teaching you how to effectively communicate with them. This method of training is full of fun techniques that will give you and your pet a happier life together.

I joined the Perfect Puppy training with my then 6 month old working Cocker and was somewhat cynical as the price was so much better than anywhere else. I needn’t have worried: Leigh reads dogs so well and sees immediately what your dog’s nature, strengths and weaknesses are. She goes the extra mile and you can tell she has a passion for dogs and what she does a mile away. She’s very knowledgeable in terms of breeds and traits and my pup responds so well to her, and me, using her training advice. After Leigh had spent just one hour with us, I was able to implement both walking on loose lead and recall and we are now so much further along - I’m now loving spending time with my pup, working on new learning and behaviours. Leigh just gets it! She's put the time and effort into understanding my neurotic terrier boy who is now living his best life on his walks with his pals. I like her straight talking knowledgeable manner and could talk dogs all day with her.
Roe loves Leigh just as much (possibly more than) she loves us!!! Leigh is a total breath of fresh air for us, she loves our dog like she’s her own and that’s everything you want and more for your pup. Cannot recommend her enough, she has our full trust with our home and pup - the most important things in our life. I think that says it all!
Walk-Leighs was a life changer for us. We first found Walk-Leighs when our Sprocker pup was 4 months; we found it really difficult walking him on lead and he knew only basic commands. After just one 1-1 session, he was walking with a loose lead! Fast forward 8 months, and lots of weekly TUT walks (training walks with other dogs, teaching him to be apart of a pack whilst also having LOTS of fun) and training classes (to teach us more than him), his recall off lead is brilliant, responds to distance commands and interacts with other dogs really well.
Leigh is extremely passionate about what she does, giving all pups (regardless of where they start) the right guidance and support to thrive. She is an open book, caring and all round lovely person - We wouldn’t trust ours with anyone else.
